Skincare Tips for the End Of Summer




We don’t want to admit it but there are only a few weeks left of summer!  Here are some helpful skincare tips to help you get through these last weeks and get you back on to your skin care routine. 



1. Get your diet back on track!  Healthy eating is the first step in having healthy, glowing, clear & beautiful skin.  Eating tons of vegetables with micro-nutrients that attack toxins in your body is a great way to help your skin.  Enjoy healthy fats that are in nuts, oils, lean meat.  Eat foods rich with beta carotene, omega 3 and vitamin D. 



2. Exfoliate!  Your skin can be more dull and rough after a summer filled with activities.  When you exfoliate your smooth skin is revealed and your skin absorbs and holds moisture better.  See my How To Wash Your Face blog entry for more details on the entire process.



3. Continue using your SPF!  The sun is still strong and can cause damage to your skin year 'round. Maintain using a Broad-Spectrum SPF, and don’t forget to use sunscreen on your entire body, especially throughout the rest of the Summer and into Fall when more of your skin tends to be exposed.  Wearing sunscreen all year is recommended!
