Breathtaking Brows

Polished and beautifully defined brows are one of the biggest trends for Fall 2014. The look is shaped without losing fullness, and filled in to add extra impact. “On the runways for Fall, the obvious word on brows was “finished.” Well groomed brows are either subtly enhanced with shaded, liquid brush-on products or defined using pencils and powders...the end result looked polished, yet effortless,” according to Rudy Miles of Beauty by Rudy.

Try these tips for breathtaking brows:

1. Brows are either naturally perfected or are slightly more pronounced, but a little straighter than having a more pronounced arch. Have your brows shaped and waxed, and perhaps even tinted by your esthetician to help your brows look more groomed, and in the best shape for you. Tinting your brows helps them look fuller, richer and more prominent.

2. For bold brows: Fill in your brows using a gel brow color or brush-on powder brow color. For brows that are sparse or have scar where hairs don’t grow, I love our new Brow Definer which provides precision control to fill in with little lines that actually look like the little hairs in your eyebrows! Follow with a light shadow on your lid, a colored liner, and a more bold lip color.
